Why SMP?
SMP is part of a national baseball organization – Protect our Nation’s Youth (PONY) – that provides another option for youth ages 5-14 from Sierra Madre and surrounding cities who want to play competitive baseball. Emphasizing collaboration and teamwork, rather than individual player achievement, we aim to create a positive and productive environment where our players build their skills and thrive.
What’s the difference between PONY and Little League?
A part of our community
SMP families are critically important to our success. In addition to supporting each other on the field and helping all players develop, SMP is committed to giving back. Throughout the year, there are opportunities to volunteer locally and to get involved in league community building activities to create lasting friendships.
